Why it's annoying - In Lecture Exercise E
Complementary Typefaces
This picture uses the same typeface and capitalization of text for the title and body, which does not allow for a good contrast between them. Although the fonts are different in terms of the size, this makes it hard to narrow down what you are trying to emphasize. They could have used a Sans Serif font for the body text.
Readability
The text in the picture is also hard to read as it uses a Serif font, which on computer screens makes it harder to read due to the low resolution. The body text is also center-aligned, which causes the reader to not be able to read the text with ease as each line does not naturally start from the same point.
Hierarchy Matters
The body of text in the picture is placed in one chunk and not broken down into smaller chunks of text (i.e. paragraphing). There is also not much variation in the fonts in the text to emphasize any key points.
